PRESIDENT OF OSM IN GIŻYCKO AWARDED AN OFFICER’S SABER

On January 19, 2023, the 2023 New Year’s Agribusiness Gala was held in the Crystal Hall of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, during which awards were presented in the “Agro-entrepreneur of the Republic of Poland 2022-2023” competition.

Honorary Patronage over the Gala was held by Henryk Kowalczyk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The strategic partner of the event was the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture.

The aim of the competition is to honor and promote the best Polish farmers, as well as representatives of the broadly defined agribusiness industry.

At the gala, the President of OSM in Giżycko – Szczepan Szumowski, PhD, Eng., was honored with the title of “Exemplary Agro-entrepreneur of the Republic of Poland” and awarded an officer’s saber, along with diplomas from the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture, the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund, and the National Support Center for Agriculture.
