Gouda cheese

Gouda cheese is the most popular cheese in the world, comes from the Dutch city of the same name. It is a hard cheese with excellent taste, made from cow’s milk. It is characterized by a few, oval rice-sized eyes. It has a fairly soft, elastic consistency, uniform throughout the mass. The taste is delicate and slightly aromatic but slightly acidic taste is also allowed. Older cheeses may be slightly spicy.
