MLEKO-EXPO 2016 Dairy Fair

The main theme of the 25th MLEKO-EXPO 2016 Fair was: “MILK FASHION”

On November 16 this year, the Jubilee 25th MLEKO-EXPO 2016 Dairy Fair began at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. It was organized by KZSM Zw. Rew. and held under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The ceremonial opening was attended by representatives of the highest state authorities and industry organizations related to dairy, including: Krzysztof Jurgiel, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Daniel Obajtek, President of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture; Łukasz Hołubowski, President of the Agricultural Market Agency; Halina Szymańska – Deputy President of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture; Tadeusz Bronakowski – Auxiliary Bishop of Łomża; Sławomir Hardej – Director of the Department of Product Registration and Animal Registration at the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture; Stanisław Śledziewski – Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Cooperative Council; Mirosław Belina – Starost of Skierniewice; Tadeusz Grotkowski – Deputy Starost of Skierniewice; Prof. Dr. Hab. Ryszard Górecki – Rector of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn; Wiesław Różański – President of the Union of Meat Industry Producers and Employers; Jerzy Chróścikowski – Senator, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development; Maciej Stępień – President of the Association of Employers, Exporters, and Importers of Dairy Products; Mieczysław Twaróg – Chairman of the Board of the Association of Polish Exporters; Klemens Ciesielski – President of the National Association of Dairymen; Andrzej Szczepański – Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Dairy Workers in Poland; Jan Kułaj – Legendary Chairman of “Solidarity: RI”; Andrzej Kowalski – Director of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics; Zbigniew Sikorski, Chairman of the National Section of NSZZ “Solidarity” of the Dairy, Spirit, and Food Concentrate Industry.

Traditionally, during the grand opening of the trade fair, statuettes were presented:

– Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture for the 10 best cooperatives in 2015, selected from the ranking prepared by KZSM Zw. Rew.:

– The 10 largest cooperative exporters in 2015, according to the KZSM Zw. Rew. ranking, were awarded: cups from the President of the Agricultural Market Agency and statuettes from the President of the Association of Employers, Exporters, and Importers of Dairy Products:
